I launched SFR Rec in 2016 to start a new chapter in music making and publishing. After a few releases under my belt I started to sign local artists: Authorized Copies, Donna DeVeronna, Noah Orchard + more. I write, produce, mix and at times master music for the label as well as produce and mix for others who are working on releases for the label. Once the music is ready for publishing I focus in on the art / design direction. I enjoy the process of shifting out of the audio zone and creating a sort of ‘visual adventure’ for earch release. Most of the writing I come up with during the process of stiching the story together. Shoot, I think if you sniffed around enough you’d find some spelling errors - apologies there, I guess that might be considered part of the charm of the label as it’s all part of the DIY, hand crafted effort of running this ship solo.
From time to time I shoot and edit music videos for some of the singles I am releasing, once I have the right platform to share those works, I will link them in here. For now I put a few screen shots for effect.
